Our Story
A warm welcome to the Cedar Point RV Resort & Marina!
In the fall of 2021, 4 Canadian couples were captivated by the tranquil beauty on the eastern shores of Kootenay Lake, formerly known as The Bayshore Resort. The potential to introduce singles, couples and families to this pristine area was evident. From there, the vision was born to develop the lush campgrounds, cozy cabins, RV sites and the large lakefront marina area.
What was once known as Bayshore Resort sat peacefully between forest and water, wrapped in stillness and natural beauty. As they walked the shoreline and looked out across the lake, they felt it immediately: this place had the potential to become something more than a stop along the road. It could become a destination.
They envisioned a space where singles, couples, and families could disconnect from the rush of everyday life and reconnect with nature, each other, and the simple rhythms of lake living.
From that moment, a new chapter began.
